Swim produced the initial interaction designs for the Command Audio wireless audio-on-demand service, which was being delivered in several US cities on the RCA CA1000 receiver. Working with Pentagram partner Bob Brunner and Pentagram industrial designers, Swim worked through numerous design ideas, and directed the build of a fully functional design prototype, used in testing. Command Audio was selected as one of the "Best Of What's New" by Popular Science in December 1999 and was winner of the 2000 Consumer Electronics Show Innovations award.
